2012-01-18 [Nioniel]: :D

2012-01-18 [Alexi Ice]: I'm currently reading Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich. It's pretty funny. Also, The City of Bones series is really amazing though I haven't the slightest idea as to who writes it.

2012-01-18 [Linderel]: That would be Cassandra Clare.

2012-01-18 [Nioniel]: Thanks, I'll check those out too. :3 I need to add to the page once I feel better. :/

2012-01-19 [Roma]: The Abhorsen Trilogy is a great young adult high fantasy read. It consists of Sabriel (my personal favorite), Lirael, and Abhorsen.

The Chronicles of Prydain is also an excellent children's fantasy series (if you've ever seen The Black Cauldron, a Disney cult classic, these are the books from which the story was rendered). The books in the series are as follows: The Book of Three, The Black Cauldron, The Castle of Llyr, Taran Wanderer, and The High King.

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn will make you see the world in another light.

The Call of Cthulu by H.P. Lovecraft is a classic short story that should be read by everyone.

The Eyes of the Dragon is a fantasy novel by Stephen King, and is probably one of my favorite high fantasy stories of all time. With his storytelling and his penchant for putting his own spin on things, I promise you'll not encounter a book half as original...while still playing on very established themes in fantasy.

2012-01-19 [Akayume]: I agree with the Abhorsen Trilogy. :D I loved it when I read it.

2012-01-19 [Linderel]: Oooh, ooooh! The Eyes of the Dragon is my favourite King novel. :) I should really read it in English at some point.
Pssst. You mean "penchant". /resident nitpicker

2012-01-19 [Avaz]: Hey, you don't know. Maybe he has an account set up that funds his putting a spin on things. :P

2012-01-19 [Linderel]: That would actually be kind of cool. :P

2012-01-20 [Nioniel]: My goal is to finish The Name of the Wind today, and then to start and finish the second book by the end of next week. Everything up there has been requested from the Library, so I need to start reading more so I don't just have a huge pile of borrowed books sitting beside my bed for months. :P

2012-01-20 [Avaz]: I'm on pins, can't wait to hear your thoughts on them when you finish. (Don't say anything yet!) :D

2012-01-21 [Akayume]: I used to do that when I was a kid. XD I had library books e'rywhere. XD

2012-01-25 [Nioniel]:

2012-01-26 [Viking]: That's quite a nice selection of books!

2012-01-26 [Nioniel]: So much to get through before they're due back!

2012-01-26 [Viking]: You can do it!

2012-01-26 [Nioniel]: :D

2012-01-26 [Viking]: Also, you should read Practical Demonkeeping next.

2012-01-26 [Nioniel]: Nope. I'm reading "Wise Man's Fear" next as it's the second book in the series after the one I'm currently reading. I'll read "Practical Demonkeepin" after that, though. :) It does look interesting.

2012-01-26 [Ravendust]: I think I'm gonna set up a reading list myself, I really need to get some reading in xD

2012-01-26 [Viking]: Ah, good call on continuing the series. Otherwise you start to forget things.
